Regional Consultation Workshops: Chandigarh

The first workshop was held at Chandigarh on September 6, 2010. The workshop was attended by senior officials from State Governments of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, J&K, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand. Industry members and eGovernance Consultancy Organizations participated in the discussions. Industry attendance was a good cross section and included among others, Accenture, Adobe, Intel, KPMG, PWC, CISCO, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, L&T InfoTech, HCL, Deloitte and MobMe.
In the workshop three key topics were deliberated upon by participants from Government and Industry. The first topic on “Mandating Electronic Service Delivery of Public Services” was anchored by Mr. Prakash Kumar, Director IBSG, CISCO. The second topic on “Strategic Control - Finding better ways to manage and control projects in outsourced mode” was anchored by Mr. Neel Ratan, Executive Director, PWC. The third topic was to lay emphasis on “Capacity Building”, and the session was anchored by Mr. Piyush Gupta, Sr. General Manager, NISG. |
